If you’d like to arrange to speak with us on-air, email Wendy McDonnell at wendy (at) compassionatesolutions.ca.

I welcome guests. I prefer children or adults who can carry a conversation for up to an hour (either alone or in a panel discussion) and share real stories of how families overcome challenges and what they learned. I support parenting strategies that have the best interests of both the children and the parents in mind. If “experts” come on the air, I want them to share what they’ve learned from their mistakes and what inspires them to work with families.

I interview people around the world with a preference for Canadians, especially local to Southern Ontario because CFRU is a Community Radio Station.

Please email your BIO and between 5 and 10 commonly asked questions and answers about what you do.
Just so you know, it may take weeks or months for me to make contact with guests because I’m planning shows months in advance.

    Wendy,
Really enjoyed your interview with Chris Mascaro on Sunday, April 8th. Chris is my nephew and it was interesting to hear his comments and replies to your questions. It helped me get an insight into what he has had to face. He doesn’t always open up to us so this was good. I especially found it touching about how difficult it is when you know the kids won’t be there in the evening after you have seen them in the morning and how it hurts.
Thank you so much for having him on your show.
You have a lovely, compassionate voice and manner and your shows will do so much to help people in difficult situations.
Regards, Margi and Bob Hay, Nanaimo, B.C.
